Development:
- Western section was owned and developed by John Stanton Fish (son of Ebenezer Fish )
- Eastern section (east of West 22nd Place) is part of the "Park Addition" of "Curtiss, Foster, and Sprague".
Notes:
- A little known fact about Forestdale is that Johnny Cash and his wife, June Carter Cash lived here for a short time. They were staying with some members of the Carter Family at 2311 Forestdale Ave.
