- James Sprankle had his office in the Perry-Payne Building and residence at 781 Prospect Avenue. The 1900 census listed his occupation as a "capitalist". He died in May of 1904.

HISTORY:
- The Sprankle Realty Co. purchased a tract of land in 1911 from David Morison (Morrison) that encompassed the east and west side of West 19th St, the east side of West 20th St, and along Kenneth Avenue.
